WEDDING VENUES

WEDDING VENUES – MYRIAME LAWLEY PHOTOGRAPHY

Beautiful Wedding Venues I’ve had the Pleasure of Photographing

One of the best parts of being a Surrey wedding photographer is getting to explore the incredible variety of venues couples choose to celebrate their big day. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings in some truly stunning locations from elegant manor houses and chic city hotels to rustic barns and countryside hideaways. Each space brings its own unique charm, character, and atmosphere, and I love discovering how every couple makes it their own.

What really excites me about photographing at different venues is the opportunity to tell a story that feels completely personal to you. Whether it’s the way the light pours through the windows at a grand historic estate, the cosy corners of a boutique London hotel, or the open fields surrounding a countryside barn, every setting adds a beautiful layer to your wedding narrative.

I’ve worked at venues with sweeping Surrey and Hampshire landscapes, intimate ceremony rooms filled with natural light, and gardens perfect for relaxed portraits. Some offer luxurious modern touches; others feel wonderfully rustic and romantic. The common thread? Each one becomes the backdrop for genuine, heartfelt moments the kind I love to capture in a natural, unobtrusive way.

If you’re currently searching for your dream wedding venue, I’m always more than happy to share insights, favourite photography spots, and blogs of real weddings I’ve photographed there. Whether your day is taking place in a charming church, a stylish city space, or a countryside retreat, my aim is to document it all with warmth, honesty, and a relaxed approach that lets you simply enjoy every second.

Wherever you decide to say “I do”, I’d be thrilled to be there to capture the magic.

New Place Hotel

New Place Hotel is a stunning Hampshire venue with a striking manor house, gorgeous gardens, and plenty of hidden corners for relaxed portraits. It’s one of those places that feels grand yet welcoming, which is a combination I always love.

Chafford Park

The gorgeous Chafford Park, where I’m proudly a recommended supplier, is set in breathtaking Kent countryside. This venue is a joy to photograph and has recently had some brillant upgrades made to the barns. From the rustic setting to the picturesque grounds, it offers endless opportunities for natural storytelling and being recommended here is genuinely such an honour.

South Downs Manor offers a wonderfully elegant setting, complete with manicured gardens and a lovely outdoor ceremony space. It’s the kind of venue where everything feels effortless and refined a perfect match for couples who want a classic but relaxed celebration.

Burley Manor

Burley Manor is a firm favourite, especially for couples who adore a relaxed countryside feel. With its sweeping New Forest views, and warm, inviting atmosphere, it’s a dream location for natural, candid photography. The golden light here is something truly special.
