This beautiful couple were married in June at St Mary’s Church Eaton Bray, followed by the wedding reception on their farm. The grooms parents breed working Labradors and at the time of the wedding there were puppies which were photographed with the groom, ushers and bestman providing some memorable moments. St Mary’s Church is early 13th century and has been described as one of the finest Parish Churches in the country with beautiful stone arches and interesting architecture. It was against this backdrop that this very loving couple were married. The guests were beautifully dressed with stunning hats as one of the family members is a millinery specialist.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom were taken by horse drawn carriage to the stables for couple and bridesmaid photographs with the brides horse, who had been groomed to perfection for his part in the photos. This was such a fun part of the day with champagne flowing, joy and happiness evident in all the photos. When all the photos were done we headed off to the farm.
A large marquee had erected in the middle of a field with seating both outside and inside the marquee. This was the same field the groom had proposed with a big ‘Will You Marry Me Board’ that had been put up at the entrance of the field for all to see. All the tables had been decorated with horseshoe table settings and wild flowers. The week leading up to the wedding had been a washout weather wise, however on the day there were dark clouds building making for lovely photos in wide open fields and as a bonus there was the most wonderful sunset for memorable photos.
