Myriame Lawley –
Wedding, Engagement and Family Photographer
“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory”
Dr. Seuss
I truly believe this quotation epitomises wedding photography for me so let me introduce myself and tell you little more about who I am and what I do.
I live in Surrey so I am in easy commuting distance to London and the Southeast and of course the airport should you be having a destination wedding.
I am unobtrusive, easy to get along with and I love taking images that represent all the joy and happiness of your wedding. My style is documentary, capturing and telling the story of your day as it unfolds. From our initial meeting through to your big day, you will have my undivided attention on all aspects of your wedding photography, I pride myself on a high standard of work. My aim is to present you with a set of natural, beautiful, unposed images to last a lifetime, to make you laugh, cry and cherish those special moments.
I was born in Zimbabwe and have always had a love of photography, wide open spaces, big blue skies and all creatures big and small that make up the natural world. From an early age I loved taking photos and developed a love of wildlife photography for which I have been lucky enough to have photographs published and have received highly commended awards from The Society of International Nature & Wildlife Photographers.
My passion for wildlife photography lead me to wedding and family photography and I have been fortunate to have been mentored and trained by Mike Garrard, The Trained Eye and his inspirational team.
During my free time I love taking my camera and little dog Jack, for walks in the beautiful Surrey countryside, visiting parks, National Trust Properties and of course indulging in my favourite passion, wildlife photography.
Let’s get in touch, I would really love to hear all about your special day.
I was honoured to receive a highly recommended award from the Society of Photographers for this emotional but happy picture of Catherine and Colin at their wedding in May 2021.
Thank you for the beautiful photos
